Back Up AVEVA Batch Management Databases

You can create backup copies of your configuration databases at any time by using the DBCOPY utility. You do not need to shut down the AVEVA Batch Management System to perform the backup. The utility, executed from the command line, locks the specified database and then safely copies it to a location that you enter.

Note: The DBCOPY utility is designed for use on an active AVEVA Batch Management Server that contains the databases that you want to back up. If you want to back up databases that are not active, you can use a standard Windows file copy.
