Important!

When installing System Platform 2026, Gateway Communication Driver is installed as a hidden feature of InTouch HMI 2026.

  • If you previously installed FS Gateway, the System Platform 2026 installation will remove FS Gateway, preserve your existing FS Gateway configuration, and port your configuration to a new instance of the Gateway Communication Driver, retaining the FS Gateway name. Existing FS Gateway configurations that use OPC access will not be impacted.

  • Gateway Communication Driver will be installed as part of System Platform 2026.

  • If your system has an older version of Gateway Communication Driver installed, the System Platform 2026 installation will upgrade Gateway Communication Driver as a first action. You will need to re-run the System Platform 2026 installation to install other components.
