Returns the cosine of a number. For trigonometric functions the number is the angle in degrees.
Syntax
result = Cos (number)
Parameters
number
A literal number, analog tagname, or numeric expression.
Example(s)
Cos(90) returns 0.
Cos(0) returns 1.
Cos(60) returns 0.5.
20 + 50 * Cos(6 * $second) produces a sine wave oscillating around 20 with an amplitude of 50 and a period of one minute.
