Create a checkbox

A checkbox control enables an operator to select an option.

To configure a checkbox control

  1. Create the checkbox. Do the following:

    1. From the Wizard Selection dialog box, select Windows Control Wizards. The control wizard icons appear.

    2. Double-click the checkbox icon. Your application window reappears and the cursor changes to a Left corner symbol.

    3. Select a location in the application window to place the wizard. The checkbox wizard appears.

    1. Drag and resize the wizard.

  2. Double-click the wizard. The Checkbox Control dialog box appears.

  3. Configure the wizard. Do the following:

    1. Type the control name.

    2. Type the discrete tag name, or double-click the empty tagname box to show the Select Tagname dialog, and select a tag.

    3. Type the caption to appear on the face of the button.

  4. Select OK.
