Using the SmartSymbol Manager, you can rename SmartSymbol templates. Renaming a SmartSymbol template has no impact on any SmartSymbol instances.
Rename a SmartSymbol template

In the SmartSymbol Manager, select the SmartSymbol template you want to rename.

On the Edit menu, select Rename.

Type in a new name for the symbol and then press Enter. The SmartSymbol template appears with the new name.
