Determine whether your PI Data Archive server is using PI MDB

If you are not sure whether a Data Archive server is using PI MDB, follow these steps.

  1. Click Start > PI System > PI System Management Tools.

  2. On the System Management Tools pane, select Operation > Module Database.

  3. Under Modules, look at the top-level Modules. If PI MDB is entirely unused, then only modules that begin with the %OSI prefix will be listed.
