PI Audit Management pane

The Audit Archives tree, which shows the Audit Archives, is located on the left side of the pane. An extended information pane that shows specific information on the currently selected node of the tree is on the right side.

The icon marks the Audit 0 archive, which contains the online audit files.

When PI AuditViewer starts for the first time, only Archive 0 is available. Offline PI Audit database files can subsequently be added to this collection.

Right clicking on an Audit Archive tree node shows a shortcut menu. The following commands are available, depending on the node and level:

Command

Description

Search ArchiveName

Toggle to include or exclude the selected Audit Archive from a search.

Rename

Renames an Audit Archive.

Scan All

Scans the audit files in the selected Audit Archive to show information on each file. For a description of the information in each file, see Subsystem Details view.

Scan

Scans the selected audit file to show information about the file.

If an Audit Archive has been omitted from the search, the corresponding icon for that Audit Archive appears blank. For example:

The toolbar on the Audit Archive tree provides the following functions.

Add Audit Archive

Remove Audit Archive

Move Audit Archive Down

Move Audit Archive Up
