Use the pidiag -ara command to repair an archive manager data file with a corrupted index.

Shut down Data Archive.

At a command prompt, go the PI\adm directory.

Type the following command:
pidiag -ara
The pidiag -ara command attempts an automatic recovery of the archive manager data file, PI\dat\piarstat.dat, using the existing data in the file.
