Actual Pending Transactions

Only for internal debugging purpose. You should use it only under the suggestion of Customer Portal.

Avg. Message Execution Time

This generic PI Subsystem counter applies to all subsystems (one counter per instance). It reports the average execution time, in milliseconds, of incoming messages (RPC). This counter is the average equivalent of the existing PI Subsystem Statistics(INSTANCE)\Message Execution Time counter. The existing counter tends to over or under report the actual value because it is simply the last value reported and suffers from sampling problems. The average counter should more accurately report the true message execution time.

Avg. RPC Requests in Queue

This generic PI Subsystem counter applies to all subsystems (one counter per instance). It reports the average number of RPCs in queue waiting to be executed. A consistent and significant number of RPC requests in queue indicate the subsystem is saturated processing RPCs.

This counter is the average equivalent of the existing PI Subsystem Statistics(INSTANCE)\RPC Requests in Queue counter. The existing counter tends to over or under report the actual value because it is simply the last value reported and suffers from sampling problems. The average counter should more accurately report the true number of RPC requests in queue.

Backup Freeze Avg Duration

Average milliseconds that subsystem is frozen for backups.

Backup Freeze Failures

Number of failed freeze operations.

Backup Freeze In Progress

If the subsystem is frozen, this counter is set to 1. Otherwise, it is set to 0.

Backup Freeze Last Count

Number of freeze operations for the last backup. Multiple freeze operations may be required for non-VSS backups.

Backup Freeze Last Duration

Number of milliseconds subsystem was frozen for the last backup.

Backup Freeze Last Transition

Number of milliseconds required to put the subsystem into a frozen state for the last backup

Backup Freeze Max Duration

Maximum milliseconds that subsystem has been frozen for a backup.

Backups Aborted

Number of backup abort operations.

Backups Completed

Number of backup complete operations.

Backups Started

Number of backup start operations.

Callback Execution Rate

Number of callbacks executed per second.

Callback Execution Time

Execution time of transaction callback.

File Close

Number of time File base Close called.

File Compress

Number of time File base Compress operations.

File Create

Number of time File base Create called.

File Delete/Sec

Rate of File base Delete.

File Grow

File Read/Sec

Rate of File base Read.

File Write/Sec

Rate of File base Write.

Lock Acquisitions/sec

Number of successful lock acquisitions per second.

Lock Contentions/sec

Number of lock conflicts (threads waiting for the same lock).

Lock Timeouts/sec

Number of lock timeouts (failed locks) per second.

Message Complete Time

Total message handling time (including results sending).

Message Execution Time

Execution time of incoming message (RPC). See also Avg. Message Execution Time.

Message Pickup Time

Latency of incoming messages (time in message queue).

Message Queue Length

Number of incoming messages in queue.

Pending Transactions

Number of pending transactions.

RPC Requests in Queue
