Use the pidiag utility to view header and events from an offline event queue file. An offline event queue file is an event queue file that is not currently loaded by PI Snapshot Subsystem or PI Archive Subsystem

At a command prompt, go to the PI\adm directory.

Type the following command:
pidiag -qd [HeaderOnly | RecNo=n |PointId=ID] path
where path is the full path of the event queue file. If you specify the HeaderOnly option, the command only returns the file header and page headers.
