Edit Data Archive tuning parameters

Some PI Audit Database maintenance procedures require editing of Data Archive tuning parameters.
Changes to tuning parameters do not take effect until you stop and restart the Data Archive server or the subsystem associated with the updated parameter. Applications that were already connected to the Data Archive server will not reflect tuning parameter edits until you reconnect.

Select Start > PI System Management Tools > Operation > Tuning Parameters.

In the Collectives and Servers box, select the check box of the Data Archive server on which you want to edit the parameter.

Clear the check boxes for all other the Data Archive servers.

Click the tab for the subsystem where you want to edit a tuning parameter value.

Right-click an existing parameter in the list, and select Edit.

Enter a Value and click OK.
