The piconfig command prompt

  • Last UpdatedJan 13, 2023

The piconfig command prompt displays the current mode and the table, if selected. When in List mode the command prompt displays Ls; in Edit mode, it displays Ed, and so on.

After you have chosen a table by using the @tabl tablename command, that table name is also shown in the command prompt.

In the following example, the mode is initially List. The @tabl tablename command selects the PIPOINT table and thereafter PIPOINT is shown in the command prompt. The @mode edit command changes to edit mode, causing the third command prompt to display (Ed - PIPOINT).

* (Ls - ) PICONFIG> @tabl pipoint
* (Ls - PIPOINT) PICONFIG> @mode edit
* (Ed - PIPOINT) PICONFIG> @sele tag=sinusoid
