Time range

  • Last UpdatedOct 04, 2024
  • 1 minute read

To constrain output of audit records to a time range, use the -st and -et arguments to specify the start time and end time. For more information on PI time format, see the Data Archive topic PI time.

The first audit record on or before the start time through the last record on or after the end time is displayed. For example, the following command displays the first audit record on or before 1:00 PM, February 21, 2017, through the current time.

pidiag -xa ..\temp\pibasessAudit.dat -st "21-Feb-17 13:00:00" -et "*"

Note: Enclose the time arguments in double quotes (") to prevent misinterpretation of the command.
