List buffered sources and points

Each instance of PI Buffer Subsystem that connects to Data Archive registers with PI Snapshot Subsystem as a buffered source. Use the piartool -bfs command on the Data Archive server to determine information about these buffered sources.

1. At a command prompt, go to the PI\adm directory.

2. Type the command appropriate for what you want to list:

   To list:	Type:
   All buffered sources and their registration IDs	piartool -bfs
   Detailed information for a buffered source with a specific registration ID	piartool -bfs ID
   PI points from a buffered source with a specific registration ID	piartool -bfs ID -ptlist
