Prerequisites

Before starting to use the Diagrams application, it is recommended that users acquire some general knowledge about using applications based on the AVEVA Design platform:

• Database principles, such as MDBs, sessions, DB elements, attributes, references .

• Using the command line

• Handling of the Application framework GUI, with docking windows .

• General Microsoft Visio knowledge.

• You also need to be familiar with the main principles of using Catalogues and Specifications. Please refer to the Catalogues and Specifications User Guide for further information.

These functions are relevant for the usage of the Diagrams application, but are outside the scope for this manual.
