Choose which point of the shape that should be used for deciding the order. Typically this setting is used in conjunction with function Sort Options Horizontally and Vertically.
Sort Option:

Horizontally |
This will consider the X position of the shapes first. |

Vertically |
This will consider the Y position of the shapes first. |
|
Selected Order |
This will rename in the order that the shapes where selected. |
|
Reversed Selected Order |
This will rename in the reverse order that the shapes where selected. |

Chain (cables only) |
This will rename cables in a chain style, starting with the selected cable traversing downstream via connected equipments/elconns. Before using this option, the user must first have selected a single cable at the start of the chain. If more than one cable is selected, the rename chain option will be disabled. It will also only propagate downstream if there is exactly one incoming and one outgoing cable at each connection. Typically this feature can be used for naming continuous circuits like lighting, fire alarms. |
