Automatic Creation of SVG for Drawing Revisions

Go to Diagrams Options > General Options > System configuration > SVG > Create SVG file as part of drawing revision.

When this option is set to True it will generate SVG for intermediate stages in drawing revision.

Set this option to True and then select Manage > Edit Status to create drawing revisions.

Change the drawing revision status from Allocated to Working then from Working to In check and last from In check to Approved. The SVG and VSDX are now generated and can be verified on the default revision location.

For an issued status save the diagram and generate the SVG.

Go to Manage > Diagrams > Promote/Demote to create the drawing revisions and generate SVG.

Set the option to True and then right-click in the Schematic Explorer to go to Revision > Open Revision. All the VSDX files can be opened.

Click on Open Revision. A window with all intermediate revisions is displayed.

If the VSDX is not available an error message is show in the Message log.

The Create SVG file as Part of Drawing Revision option is an individual function which creates files in the Defaults Revision folder of projects, other functionalities such as Save Work and Change Highlights, which depend on SVG files, does not support the SVG's generated through this option.

When Create SVG file as part of the drawing revision, is set to False, the application will continue to behave as previously.
