View Import Messages

Once an import has taken place, a return value is provided that indicates the success (or otherwise) of the operation.

A value of type REAL is returned. The values and their meanings are as follows:

-1 = Error

0 = Success

1 = Imported with warnings.

All import messages, warnings and errors are written to a log file. This log file is available for a period of 14 days, after which it is deleted. A new log file is created for every time the Schematic Model Manager module run.

There is a method on the SMM PML object that provides the full pathname of the current logfile, in order to determine which log file relates to an import:
