Import Diagram Set

A Diagram Set is a group of diagram XML files. By grouping these into Diagram Sets, the same set of files can be recalled and re-imported as required.

The XML files themselves contain engineering item and graphical data. Each of these files contains data for a single diagram. This data is exported from AutoCAD P&ID drawings using the AVEVA Schematic Model Manager Gateway, from AVEVA P&ID, and other supported P&ID systems. Contact your AVEVA Sales office for further information.

File Sets are created and edited using the Diagram Set Editor. For further information, refer to Create Diagram Sets.

The Diagram Set Editor can also be used to initiate the import of Diagram Sets. Existing Diagram Sets can also be selected for import via the File menu. For further information, refer to Import Diagram Sets.
