File Handling

All diagrams, stencils and templates are handled through proxy elements in the database, even if the actual files are stored in the file system. Please refer to Database Architecture for an overview of how these documents are managed.

Note:
It is possible to choose binary or XML format for saving Visio documents. for further information please see Document File Formats in Document Files, Sessions.Document Files, Sessions.
