Batch Revisioning of Drawings using Status Controller

To create revisions for a batch of drawings use the Status Controller function.

Go to Manage Tab > Status Controller.

To use the status definitions the new status layout must be configured.

Select the status attributes to be displayed.

The schematic elements to which the status definitions apply will be displayed along with their status values.

Select and right-click the SCDIAG elements for which the revision is required.

Click on the Edit Status… option to select the desired status for the selected SCDIAG elements.

In this example the status Issued is selected for all available drawings.

The status is now set and reflected for SCDIAG elements.

If one or more drawings have a different revision status then the staus assignment can only be done through the Promote/Demote options from the context menu.

Accordingly, Promote/Demote operations for similar or different SCDIAG element's revision status will lead to Increment/Decrement of the DiagRevisionsStatus Value, limited to one hop at a time.
