Import Designations from other Databases

The ISO 15926 Designation fields can be completed by importing designations from a Schematic database or databases within the current MDB.

To import designations from other databases, select the Populate from Database(s) option.

The Select Database dialog is then displayed.

The dialog lists all the Schematic databases in the Master database (MDB).

To select the database(s) to import designations from, check the appropriate Apply checkboxes.

Once the required selections have been made, click OK. The import then takes place.

Select the Cancel option to close the dialog without proceeding with the import.

The designations in the selected databases are then copied into the ISO 15926 Designation fields. Note that designations already listed in these fields are not imported, and therefore existing mappings will not be overwritten.
