Creating Secondary Shapes by Copy/Paste

  • Last UpdatedMar 22, 2024
  • 1 minute read

Secondary shapes can also be created by copying and pasting shapes in or between drawings. When a shape is being pasted, the system checks if it contains a name of a DB element. If that DB element already exists, a dialog is shown. For electrical connections and nozzle elements, no separate dialog is shown and the response is taken from the parent equipment item. This behavior depends on the default settings. Refer to Behavior of Primary/Secondary Shapes.
