Using Excel Files

Using excel files in the same way as a report file will link the file to the created shapes on the drawing as displayed in the image below.

Open the file and then do a refresh of the shape and it will be linked to the shape like reports You can now see the report generated based on the excel file.

If you double click on the report it will open in the Excel interface. Here you can edit and save the report.
