After a pipeline has been created, its properties can be viewed and changed by using the Pipeline Properties command. This command is available through the right click menu in the Explorer on pipelines and their members, as well as through the right click menu for Inline Fittings in the drawing.
After updating the pipeline properties, the following attributes will propagate their values to all elements associated with the respective pipeline:
DESC, FUNC, PSPE, ISPE, TSPE, PTSP, FLUR, TEMP, PRES, NUMB, PURP.
The Propagate Attributes window displays a check box, Keep element's value if different than piping components. If this is checked Diagrams will store the previous values of all elements associated with the pipeline except the piping components Branch, Segment and Tube.
When check box is checked, it will only propagate attribute values to SCBRANCH, SCSEGMENT, SCTUB.
If unchecked, it will propagate attribute values to elements associated to pipeline.

In case any branches have been created on diagram drawings, the dialog displays the tab Diagram references. This tab holds a list of all diagrams/pages that the pipeline is represented on.
