Intelligent Background Page

The Intelligent Background Page feature allows the import of drafting drawings as a background page. To achieve this open the Visio drawing and choose the Insert Tab > Illustration> Intelligent Background command.

The below window, Import background, is displayed.

Only intelligent backgrounds with .svg file extensions can be selected for import via the above window. Select the Intelligent background from the required location and click the Open button.

The below picture is an example of an intelligent background.

You can view the result of the import in the Message Log.
