Alarm latching

Alarm latching is an additional alarm state that you can configure on a Galaxy-wide basis. With alarm latching enabled, run-time clients continue to display resolved alarm conditions, even if the condition that caused the alarm state has since returned to normal and/or has been acknowledged. A dismiss command from an authorized user is required to remove the latched alarms from run-time displays. The dismiss command is similar to an acknowledge (Ack) command. The latched state provides enhanced visibility and an additional check for alarms that have been acked and/or returned to normal. See Dismiss a latched alarms for details.
