Multiple network interface cards

System Platform nodes can be configured to use two or more network interface cards (NIC) for redundancy or other requirements. Each NIC must be configured to allow communication with other System Platform nodes.

If a node contains multiple NICs but is using only one of the cards, disable all cards except the one in use, that is, the NIC for the supervisory network.
