Using the local administrator account with single sign on

To ensure that the local administrator account is not locked out when using an external authentication provider for Single Sign-On, a separate login workflow is provided. This allows the user to enter the "administrator" account and without being redirected to the SSO provider. The user is instead validated by Application Server.

To log into Application Server as a local administrator when using an Authentication Provider

  1. Enter the admin user name.

If the user name is not the local administrator, the log in request is forwarded to the external Authentication Provider.

  2. Enter the admin password when prompted.

The administrator is logged in when Application Server authenticates the user.
