Add an existing graphic to your graphic

You can add an existing graphic to the graphic you are editing. The graphic may come from the Visualization Toolbox or an instance (asset). Once you have placed the graphic in your graphic, you can then edit it like any other component of the graphic.

Note: If you place a graphic from a template onto the graphic you are editing, the Configure New Asset Editor opens so you can create a new instance based on the template. You will generally only do this if the template contains an Object Wizard, See Create a new instance graphically for more information.

To add an existing graphic to the graphic you are editing

  1. In the Properties pane, select the tab for the location of the graphic to add: the Visualization Toolbox or an asset (instance).

  2. Navigate through the toolbox folders or your Galaxy structure to find the location of the graphic. The graphics in the folder or object you select appear below the navigation area.

  3. Select the graphic you want to add and drag it to the desired location on the canvas.

Toolbox tab of the create new asset editor
