Using custom properties with Application Server

This section provides information specific to Application Server for using custom properties in Industrial Graphics. You can use custom properties to extend the functionality of graphics at run time, such as showing historical data, and to change references dynamically through binding and scripting.

You can use custom properties to assign values to attributes or tags. In AVEVA InTouch HMI, you can use scripts to assign bad or initializing quality values to tags. In AVEVA OMI ViewApps, you cannot use scripts to assign bad or initializing quality value to attributes of user defined objects.
