You can assign a remote galaxy reference to the owning object property of an embedded graphic during configuration through the Graphic Editor.
If needed, you can use scripting to change the owning object property during run time.
To configure the owning object property in the Graphic Editor
-
Launch the Graphic editor and embed a graphic. Select the graphic.
-
In the Properties pane, under Runtime Behavior, select the Owning Object property. You can set the owning object property through the Galaxy browser, or by typing the object reference in the field. Object references use the following format: RemoteGalaxyName:ObjectName.

-
To use the Galaxy Browser to set the owning object (instead of typing the reference), select the ellipsis button. This launches the browser.
-
From the Galaxy Browser, select the remote galaxy from the Namespace list of galaxy names. The objects contained in the galaxy are listed by tagname.
-
Select the object you want to set as the owing object and select OK.
