Node-to-node communications

All computers that have System Platform software installed must be able to communicate with each other. This communication is enabled through a user account set up during the initial installation of a System Platform component on each computer.

Subsequent installations of System Platform components do not prompt for the user account information. They automatically use the account specified during the installation of the initial System Platform component.

The user account described in this document only enables node-to-node communications between System Platform components. This user account is not associated with Application Server security, which provides user authentication for individual access points to the infrastructure.
