Remove a local platform

Use this procedure to remove an inactive local platform prior to upgrading System Platform, to remove an orphaned local platform, etc.
Note: You cannot undo this operation, and you cannot add a platform through the Platform Manager. You must use the IDE to add a platform.
To remove a local platform

In the console tree, select the local platform that you want to remove.

Select the Remove Platform icon on the toolbar. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to remove the platform.

Select No to cancel the operation or select Yes to remove the platform.

If you select Yes, Platform Manager removes the local platform and cleans up the database.

If the IDE is running on the node where you removed the platform, restart the IDE.
