Secured and verified writes

Operations that require you to log in every time you use them include secured writes, verified writes, and acknowledging alarm states. The behavior of these features does not change, whether or not you are using the connected experience.
To perform a secured write in Operations Control mode

Change a runtime value. The secured write dialog is displayed.

Enter your AVEVA username and password. The AVEVA Identity Manager authenticates you and the value change is allowed.
To perform a verified write in Operations Control mode

Change a runtime value. The verified write dialog is displayed.

Enter your AVEVA username and password. The AVEVA Identity Manager authenticates you.

The verifier selects on the authentication button and enters their username and password.

Both identities are verified and the value change is allowed.
