Restore o a new galaxy

Typically, you use the Galaxy Database Manager in the OCMC to perform a restore operation. Specify the backup .cab file to be restored, and provide a galaxy name. You are restoring a backup, but the result is a new galaxy.

The exception to this workflow is when you must rename a galaxy to ensure that all galaxies in the multi-galaxy environment have unique names. For information about the renaming scenario and procedure, see Galaxy names in a multi-galaxy environment.
