Install or reinstall required PIML Mobile components

Ensure that the Windows Mobile device is already cradled.

Use the PI Manual Logger Device Installer to install or reinstall the required PIML Mobile components on a cradled device.

1. As Administrator, select Start > All Programs > PI System > PI Manual Logger > PIML Device Installer.

2. In the PIML Device Installer window, click Reinstall.

3. Select a reinstall option in the following order:

   1. Reinstall .NET Compact Framework

   2. Reinstall .NET Compact Framework System Resource

   3. Reinstall SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition

   4. Reinstall PI Manual Logger Mobile

      After you begin installing a component, the Microsoft Application Manager opens.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of the component on your Windows Mobile device.

5. Continue installing components until you have completed installing PI Manual Logger Mobile.

6. Click Refresh to confirm that all components have been successfully installed on the mobile device.
