Define a data validation limit

When you are configuring a tour, you need to set up validation limits for a tag during data entry.

1. In the Tour Configuration window, select the Data Validation tab.

2. For each limit type, choose one of the following actions:

   • To specify a limit by quantity, enter a quantity value in the limit field.

   • To specify a PI tag limit, click Set beside the limit and then select a tag from the Tag Search window.

3. For each high/low limit type, click beside the Set button for that limit and define a trigger action in the Trigger Action window.

   A large icon appears next to that limit label, indicating that a trigger has been set.
