Configure connection to Central PI Manual Logger SQL Server

You need to specify the Central PI Manual Logger SQL Server connection.

1. As Administrator, run PI Manual Logger and click MobilePC > Central SQL Server Setup.

2. In the Central Database Connection Setup window, specify the Central PI Manual Logger SQL Server connection.

3. Click Test to verify the connection.

   • If the connection test is successful, click Apply to close the window.

   • If the connection test is unsuccessful, resolve the connection issues before applying changes.

   Note: The database schema version of the Central PI Manual Logger SQL Server database must match the MobilePC database schema version. To upgrade the Central PI Manual Logger SQL Server database schema, connect directly to the Central PI Manual Logger SQL Server database through the Tools > SQL Server Setup menu command with db_owner privileges to upgrade the database schema. Then set the MobilePC database connection back to the MobilePC database through the Tools > SQL Server Setup menu command. Then, go back to step 1.
