Configure tour information

After you have created a tour and assigned user group permissions, complete the remaining tour setup tasks in the Tour Info pane.

  1. Optional. Create a comment tag for the tour. Note that tour comments entered during a tour run are saved as a PI Annotation by default.

  2. Optional. Define data collection scheduling for the tour.

  3. Optional. In the Notes field, enter filter names that users can use in URLs to load a subset of tour configurations. For more information, see Configuration of filtered tour lists for PI Manual Logger Web.

  4. Click the Tour Options button.

  5. in the Tour Options window, set up the options for the tour in each tab. See Tour options.

  6. Associate tour digital states with a tour.

Set up the tag group hierarchy and then set up tag group barcodes, comment tags, and collection schedules as needed.
