Configure wireless transfer in PI Manual Logger Mobile

Set up wireless connection information in PI Manual Logger Mobile.

1. On PI Manual Logger Mobile, select Tools > Global Settings.

2. On the Server tab, enter a valid server location to connect PI Manual Logger Web Services in the Web Service URL text box.

3. Tap the Test! button.

4. In the Network Log On window, enter your network credentials. If Anonymous Authentication is enabled, you do not need to enter your network credentials.

5. Tap OK to continue.

   If everything is configured correctly, you should receive a Connection successful! confirmation message, showing the PI Manual Logger database that you are connected to, in addition to the PI Data server and PI user/mapping used to connect to PI Data Archive.

   If an error occurs and the error message cannot be displayed, as Administrator, install the .NET Compact Framework System Resource from the PIML Device Installer application to determine the reason for connection issues when you retest the connection.

6. Tap the ok button in the Connection window.

7. Tap the Apply button .

8. Restart PI Manual Logger Mobile to apply the wireless connection settings and start transferring data wirelessly.
