PI Manual Logger 2017 R2

PI Manual Logger (PI ML) is a set of client applications for Windows and modern day browsers that provides manual data entry into the PI System.

Note: Although PI Manual Logger PC and PI Manual Logger Mobile are no longer shipped, PI Manual Logger PC 2014, PI Manual Logger Mobile 2012, and PI Manual Logger Web Services 2014 are compatible with this release. This documentation set therefore includes those components.

PI Manual Logger 2017 R2 upgrades PI Manual Logger Web only and includes but is not limited to the following enhancements:

• Replacement of data storage allowing larger data sets in the browser’s storage

• Ability to default to the grid view

• Support for the tour option, feet-inch format

• Support for retrieving historical data directly from PI Data Archive or from the PI ML database cache

• Support for Spanish - Mexican

• Enhanced support for limit violations on the grid view

• Better indication as to when it is safe to go offline

• More useful and actionable error messages
