Configure a PI Data Archive connection

You need to configure a connection to the PI Data Archive where PI Manual Logger tour run data will be sent after a tour run is complete and approved.

• The PI Manual Logger Windows database must connect to a single PI Data Archive only.

• Ensure that all PI Manual Logger users are logged off if you need to change the target PI Data Archive for a PI Manual Logger database.

1. In PI Manual Logger, select Tools > PI Data Archive Setup.

2. In the PI Data Archive Setup window, click Advanced.

3. In the PI Connection Manager window, select the PI Data Archive to which you want to connect.

4. Click Save.
