Configure SQL Server connection and test Web Services

After IIS configuration is complete, configure the SQL Server connection and test PI Manual Logger Web Services.

1. To configure the SQL Server connection, follow the steps in Configure SQL Server connection information.

2. To test PI Manual Logger Web Services, enter the following URL in a web browser on the web server:

   http://YourWebServer/PimlWebServices/PimlWebServices.asmx

3. Click Test Connection and then Invoke to verify your connection to the database and PI Data Archive.

   A browser window opens, confirming that your connection is successful.
