PI Manual Logger database preparation

The PI Manual Logger Database must be attached and configured prior to running the PI Manual Logger Web installation kit.

For new PI Manual Logger installations, refer to SQL Server configuration.

For upgrading existing PI Manual Logger installations, refer to PI Manual Logger upgrades. The PI Manual Logger database schema must be upgraded by running PI Manual Logger PC Windows client first which automatically upgrades your database schema to the appropriate version prior to running the PI Manual Logger Web installation kit.

The PI Manual Logger can be installed on the same SQL Server instance on which PI AF and PI Coresight databases are installed.
