PI System requirements for PI Vision

This release of AVEVA PI Vision is supported and tested with PI Server 2018 and later. PI Server 2018 includes:

• PI Data Archive 2018 (3.4.420)

• PI AF version 2018 (2.10.0).

  Note: Previous versions of PI Data Archive beginning with 3.4.380 and PI AF beginning with PI AF 2015 (2.7) are expected to work but they were not tested and they are not supported. Using a PI AF Server with a version older than PI AF 2018 (2.10) will result in the loss of some functionality.

Additionally, PI mappings are required for all client users to search Data Archive servers and PI AF servers (a PI trust is not sufficient for search, but can still be used for viewing data). A PI mapping associates a user, group, or an AVEVA Identity Manger Client with a PI identity.
