Configure Credential Manager if installing on an application server that isn't in a domain

Note: This section only applies if installing PI Vision on an application server that isn't in a domain.

Configure Credential Manager to allow connections to the AVEVA Identity Manager server for identity client registration.

1. On the PI Vision server, open the Credential Manager application.

2. In Credential Manager, select Windows Credentials, then select Add a Windows credential.

3. For the Internet or network address, enter the name of the AVEVA Identity Manager server.

4. Enter the username and password of a user that has administrative rights on the AVEVA Identity Manager server.

5. Select OK to save the new Windows credential.
