Create a new display

From the home page, you can create a new display.

1. Click New Display to open an empty display.

2. In the Assets pane, browse or search for data that you want to visualize.

   See Search for data.

3. In the Assets pane toolbar, select a symbol type.

   See Use symbols to visualize data.

4. Drag an asset or attribute from the Assets pane into the display area.

   AVEVA PI Vision inserts a symbol containing the selected data items into the display.

   For more information about creating displays, see Edit displays in Design mode.

5. Save the display.
