Unorganized displays are displays that are not saved in any folder, and they are instead saved in the Unorganized area. From the PI Vision homepage, you can select Unorganized to view all the Unorganized displays that you have permission to view. Some key points about Unorganized displays:
-
Just like any other display, unorganized displays can have permissions applied to restrict which users can view and edit the displays.
-
You can move unorganized displays into folders.
-
If a user creates a display but does not have write access to any folder, the display can be saved only in the Unorganized area.
-
If a user restores a display from the Recycle Bin and that user does not have at least the Write permission on all of its parent folders, that display is restored to the Unorganized area instead of to its original folder location.
-
You can change how the displays in the Unorganized area are sorted by choosing one of the following options at the top of the page: Accessed, Modified, Name, or Owner. You can also select the Toggle sort direction
icon to reverse the direction of the sort.
-
If you are a PI Vision administrator, you can choose to Show private displays
that exist in the Unorganized area.
