PI Vision upgrades

When you upgrade to a new version of AVEVA PI Vision, many of your existing settings are carried over to the upgraded AVEVA PI Vision installation. This includes settings for allowed Data Archive servers, PI AF databases, and the AVEVA PI Vision database. It does not include some IIS settings that are not specifically related to AVEVA PI Vision. These unrelated settings may be reset to default during the upgrade.

You can back up and copy databases to the new server or use the AVEVA PI Vision Display Utility to move displays within AVEVA PI Vision servers.
